Got a chance to hold one today. I kinda liked it, albeit with the extended mag. But it felt like it had a mile long trigger pull. I don't get the chance to pull the trigger on many, so is my observation correct? I regularly shoot an LCR and an SP101 (because I own 'em), so I was kinda surprised at my thought.

Secondly, how is the (wildly subjective) recoil? I shoot my 357LCR, and it's got more recoil than I'd care for, even with wadcutters. I can do a few cylinders of 158grn +P's, and that's about enough. My 3" SP101, that's fine to shoot with those loads (but I don't like Magnums in it).

I'd like another pocket pistol, but with a couple more rounds, and easier to shoot (lighter trigger, less felt recoil than the LCR), but with a similar-ish trigger, as I don't plan to give up my revolvers. At the same shop I held a Taurus 709 (nice grip, lousy trigger) and the LC380 (same as LC9 I know) (grip not as nice but better trigger). The Sig was wildly expensive, but came with night sights and two mags (short and extended). I've held a Keltec P32, but it felt tiny; and I don't think I'd care for the P3AT nor LCP on the basis of what I've read about recoil.

Did more reading. Early models, and early models converted to RS, may have issues (beta guns). RS models are the ones with double strike and an improved trigger, supposedly. Sub-3" barrel, so I will likely find it louder than my 38; the weight is between the LCR and SP101. Am going to guess recoil is less than the LCR, given more weight and the fact it's an automatic; but likely more than the SP101.
