With snap-caps: just racking the slide I can get them all to eject properly. Once I chamber and pull the trigger the slide jams up and it takes a lot more force to eject. I have experienced with live rounds as well.
Bought the pieces all separately and brand-new. I know the correct recoil spring is in there after having put the incorrect/longer one in there first. Comp and barrel were installed by a smith, but they couldn't figure out why this was happening either.
