Sig P320 Manual Safety

Hello Everyone!

My everyday carry is the Sig P320 and it is mostly comfortable but not as comfortable as the G19. The manual safety is very annoying because it is the widest part of the firearm and at the range my thumb sometimes contacts it which I feel is dangerous. I have no reservations to carrying without a manual safety.

Does anyone know if the manual safety can be removed safely?

I bought a full size .45 P320 And was uncomfortable because it did not have a safety.

I guess I will get used to it and it’s nice to know the safety actually bothered others.
