I love this unit, but am having problem that I'm requesting advice or info.

Problem: The trigger will not return to double action position. Trigger will only return to single action click point.

My inexperienced guess: The right side grip is squeezing the return assembly. There is a C shaped wire that pushes the assembly to the double action click point. When I loosen the right grip screws, the C shaped wire and assembly return the trigger to full double action point. I hear it click fully back. I suppose I could just leave the grip slightly loose, but I don't think that's a good solution. I thought of getting new grips and screws, but I don't know if that will solve the problem. Do I need a new return wire? I'm a noobie so pardon my ignorance in terminogy or techy no how.

If anyone has any info or experience, I sure would be appreciative.

I had a similar problem with a Sig when I put on Hogue grips. I removed just a little bit of material from the grip where the decocker travels. That took care of the problem.

If the pistol was able to be decocked normally with the grip loosened I would say that you don't need a new spring. If you keep having problems try asking the folks over at www.sigforum.com They are a great bunch of guys and the sight is a wealth of information for Sig owners.

washers?

Hey RickG. When I take out the screws and I push the grip tight without the screws it seems to work. I put some washers in, and the trigger goes back to double action and decocking works. But the metal C shaped spring is pushing against the grip. I don't know if it's suppose to do that.

I will take you advice and post this on the Sig Forum.

By the way, Rick, where did you get the Hogue Grips?
