Does anyone here own this firearm? I was thinking about picking one of these up but I have seen a lot of videos on you tube about stove pipping, and FTE because a burr is consistently found on the feed ramp edge. I know they are not "approved" on the roster list yet in MA, but will be soon. Are these little guys worth the 600+ dollar price tag?

After seeing the stuff on here I went over to the Sig Forum and checked out what some P238 owners had to say. On a whole, the reviews were very good. There was nothing about the problems that you mention. Maybe all the kinks have been worked out if there were any.

I like Sigs. If I was looking for something in that size I would definately consider it.

Dealers around here are selling them for like $609.00. So that is above MSRP. Not by much, but still.

I know it depends on the model that is submitted for MA compliance but you can find P238s on Gun Broker for less than $450.

I have one. I purchased it from a member earler this year for my wife after she got her LTC-A. She doesn't carry often so I started using it. Conceals nicely with a pocket holster. I fired a variety of ammo (~300 rounds) at the range without a hitch. Nice shooter especially now that .380 can be found on the shelf.

As long as the model number/finish is the same it should be MA importable regardless.

I'm confused I was in Blue Northern today and they were telling me they can sell it to me but I can't take it because it's not officially MA approved, but they are expecting to be approved early november. Soooooo what's the story here cause I want one it was a cool little gun!

I would be looking to buy one if I didn't already own a Ruger LCP, which has been a nice little ankle gun with 100% reliability thus far. I would like to try out the 238 at the next NES shoot if someone attending has one though.

I will bring my personal P238 Two-Tone Blackwood Grips for you to try out at the next NES shoot. We currently have the Rainbow and HD models in stock.
