I have a CZ-75B, and I wanted to swap my factory sights with a set from CZ Custom. I thought I might have trouble getting the front in, as it is quite small and required drilling a groove in the new sight for the pin to rest in, but that actually went rather smoothly. However, I can't seem to drift the rear sight out and have given up on doing it at home as it was taking too much force and I don't want to risk damaging the new sight, the old sight, or the slide. Where can I find a gunsmith to do this for me that is somewhere in/near northern Worcester county, and how much might that cost? I have the replacement rear sight in hand already, I just need someone to swap the two. I kind of wanted to take it to State Line, as I intended to go up there for something else, but would it be ok to bring just the slide across state lines? I know very little about interstate transport of firearms/parts other than that I can't buy a pistol out of state and bring it home.

Thanks for any input! [grin]

I recently purchased a CZ 75 Shadow Long Slide from CZ Custom, which did not come with the fiber optic front sight installed. I sent the slide out to the Custom Shop in Mesa Arizona for the installation. Great people and great service. Highly recommended. Take care of that 75B, thats a keeper !
