SKS Screw question

Can anyone tell me what the heck I am missing here? I have the screw but obviously not the other half. Any help would be much appreciated

There's really no need for you to ever take those two pieces apart.

There's really no need for you to ever take those two pieces apart.

I take them apart when I am de-cosmolening my SKSs and Mosins, just to get into all of the crevices, and when I am refinishing a stock. Beyond that, I agree there is no reason to take that bolt apart.
