Smith and wesson 22-a

I just bought my 1st handgun last month and came across a thread about the 22-a being illegal in Ma. I heard that one of them is legal. I got the one pictured below, does anyone know if this is the Mass compliant one?

It is not illegal to own it in MA - it's illegal for the dealers to sell it.
And the one you have (bull barrel, wood grips) IS the MA compliant one for the dealers to sell.

just to clarify what becka said: it is not legal for DEALERS to sell it in a specific configuration. The configuration you pictured is fine. In this case YOU would never get in trouble, even if you bought one that was "illegal" for a dealer to sell. The dealer *MIGHT* get in trouble, but you would never get in trouble.

Glad I could make MA law a little less confusing(or more confusing).
