Socom II with the full length rail on it...what do you guys use or would use for a scope/mount combo?

Do you want to bridge the action? Or just use the rail?
I have an M1A Scout and use the Leupold Scout Scope on it. It's only 2.5x, but sufficient for my use. I've hit man-size steel with it out to 400 yards.
I cannot use the iron sights with the scope on, but the rings are the quick-release type from Leupold.
A similar setup might work on your SOCOM II.
I was told by a credible source that Leupold is developing a 1.5x - 4x variable power Scout Scope if you need more magnification.

i actually didnt think of that...i have a leupold 1.5-5x on my ar
