Greg asked me to post a few pics.

The series 70 is a before and after . It started as a Nickel Satin fisish, was stripped, ejection port lowered,scope mount, new internals and barrel- Tested sub 2 inches at 50 yards(ten shots) A Bullseye match gun.

The Delta 10MM was " bobtailed" new safety and trigger job

Maybe easier to carry for someone with a spare tire. You wont have the edge sticking in to your side? I have no idea why.

Probably as good a guess as any.

One other idea: maybe it is becuase this mod, rare as it is, makes your gun unique and custom.

I guess, with the loss of a smidgen of an inch of the back of the grip.

Kinda the same way a Glock 26 a fraction of an inch smaller than a G19.
