Hello All, first time poster and prospective new gun owner here. I'm in Southern NH, currently signed up for Handguns 101 at Sig Academy in a few months. I'm on the fence about switching to the equivalent class at GSIR, which is closer to me, to get rolling sooner. Looking for feedback on these two options, or going 1-on-1 with an independent instructor. I'm a complete beginner, never fired a handgun before. I like the idea of the structured, sequential curriculums at Sig and GSIR. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Sig does a really good job from my experience. Nice facilities as well and worth the drive. I’m assuming gsir is granite state indoor range. I don’t know anything about their classes. I’m not a fan of their prices or processes for buying nfa items.

SIG is very good. I’ve taken several new gun owners to 101/102 and all came away confident enough to join a club/range to shoot regularly.
