Special Election today 8/13/13 in Dorchester and Milton

No Republicans running, the Democratic field includes:

Dan Cullinane, a Forry aide who served as field director in her state senate campaign;

Stephanie L. Everett, a lawyer who served as chief of staff at the state’s Department of Transitional Assistance until earlier this year

Marydith E. Tuitt, chief of staff for state Rep. Gloria Fox, D-Roxbury.

Anyone know anything about them? None show any public safety positions on their website or Facebook pages.

She's an interesting candidate, 14 year Navy vet. The district is pretty interesting because it includes some pretty poor, predominantly minority neighborhoods, more white and affluent portions in Milton, and very "mixed" neighborhoods like Savin Hill which seems to have a collection.
