CLASS STARTS AT 9:00AM – PLEASE BE THERE NO LATER THAN 8:30AM FOR SET UP AND SAFETY BRIEFING.

This class will help build skills & techniques in relation to accurate shooting and shot placement for the beginner, or intermediate shooter.
Students will learn proper sight alignment, and sight picture as well as accurate bulls eye shooting with traditional defensive pistols at various distances.
This is also a great opportunity for the advanced shooter to refresh and practice their skills as well as learn something new.

Prerequisites:

All students must understand and be able to successfully maintain all shooting safety fundamentals.

ABOUT SUPER DAVE HARRINGTON:
Dave Harrington is an International Level Weapons & Tactics Trainer, and National Level Competitive Shooter. Dave has an extensive background in the U.S. Army Special Forces and has earned the respect of his peers in both the shooting industry and competitive shooting communities with his technical knowledge base and on demand shooting ability.Dave has developed his own training methodology, and training programs that provide a solid balance of technical shooting instruction and his guidance for the tactical application of fire for “problem solving”. The high value aspect of Dave’s approach to training is he is not a “lock step” trainer.

Dave’s powers of observation and analytical skill allow him to immediately and continuously evaluate each individual’s ability and advise accordingly. Dave does not waste time, energy, or resources on topics that you readily understand and are capable of demonstrating based on his analysis of your performance. Dave will take you as far as he can based on your demonstrated performance and willingness to apply yourself.

This course is designed to introduce the intermediate or advanced shooter to the art of defensive and tactical pistol shooting.
COURSE BREAKDOWN:
– Range orientation
– Firearms safety
– First aid procedure
– Warm-up drills
– Ready positions
– Close quarters engagements
– Single hand techniques (right and left and transitions)
– Moving and shooting / shooting and moving
– Failure drills
– Presentation & draw techniques
– Turning and shooting
– Seated position shooting
– Close range speed shooting

EQUIPMENT LISTS:
All students must bring:
– Quality semi-automatic pistol chambered in 380 ACP, 9mm, 357Sig 40S&W, or 45 ACP.
– Minimum of 600 rounds of brass cased ammunition (no steel cased ammo).
– Quality eye and ear protection. Electronic ear protection is recommended.
– Four magazines minimum with magazine carriers/pouch, etc. (please arrive with magazines loaded)
– Pistol / caliber specific cleaning supplies or kit.
– Quality kydex holster —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, Alien Gear, Fobus, Uncle Mike’s or Crossbreed, “hybrid” style holsters. NO ankle, small of the back, or shoulder holsters.
We recommend holsters from Dark Star Gear, 508 Holsters, Raven Concealment, Blackpoint Tactical, Black Center Tactical, C&G Holsters, Concealment Express & G-Code.
