(Shamelessly copy/pasting the ad I bought this from on here)
Location: Wilmington, MA
Description: Early 1944 (Jan-Mar) Standard Products M1 Carbine
Standard Products made very few M1 Carbines, 2nd only to Rock-Ola.
This Standard Products M1 carbine is a Blue Sky import (but still shoots well) from South Korea. It is very plausible that this saw combat in both WWII and Korea.
Despite being a Blue Sky import, the barrel is still a decent shooter. It shoots 3-4 MOA with bulk, brass cased 110gr FMJ and this rifle took first place at a small M1 Carbine match here at Mass Rifle Association.
It’s impossible to say how much of the rifle is original, but a lot of the parts seem plausibly original based on which manufacturers shared parts with whom and when. The rear sight, safety selector, firing pin, magazine catch, stock, operating slide, and barrel band/bayonet lug all seem to have been replaced or repaired during post-war refit. Mostly standardized post-war depot level repairs and modifications.
Price : $1,200 or best reasonable offer for the lot cash/money order (no trades)
Accessories:
* 6x original 15rd magazines
-- * 1 Underwood
-- * 3 Inland
-- * 1 IBM
-- * 1 Winchester
* 4x pre-ban 30rd magazines
* Bolt disassembly tool
* Book: U.S. M1 Carbines, Wartime Production
* Book: The M1 Carbine Owner's Guide
can add ~1k rounds of brass aguila .30 carbine for an additional $450 (will NOT sell separately)
