Its hard to see. Their videos seem to highlight active people, so maybe light weight guns designed to be carried during activities like running?

Other thing I am thinking is something like the Sig 320 where convertible.

They're doing some promotion that the first 200 sold or something like that comes with five (5) rounds of ammunition. Consensus is a tiny 380 or possibly a revolver.

I'd rather get their Chris Kyle 1911 if I didn't live in MA

Looks like it is an AR-15

Yet another fine piece not avail in the People's Republic

while the thought of another AR-15 isn't exactly exciting, anything to get more AR-15's into the hands of american gun owners is a good thing in my book. if this "saint" model piques some interest of the springfield armory fanboys then god bless it.

in the $800-$1k range there are so many excellent options out there (Windham, Stag, Sig, many others) that it simply becomes a matter of preference.

Im glad there was some clarity on this. It was a nice marketing job except for the fact that it seemed like the videos were some TV show about these 6 people. I didn't put any effort into researching what it was all about. Yes I was lazy about it I will admit but by the end of the video I still had no idea what it was about.

Tim at Military Arms Channel had something to say about this yesterday on FB:

I know the guys over at Guns and Ammo, along with all the other print rags, have to pay the bills... but I'm sorry, I can't get excited about ANOTHER AR15 being released. This one is uber special because it has a mid-length gas system and features BCM furniture. Oh yeah, and some badass Leapers UTG hardware.

I'll just take them BCM rifle, thanks.
Meanwhile, can a major manufacturer try to do something fresh, new and innovative for once? I need another AR15 option like I need another hole in my head. /rant off

No idea who Tom is but what a dumbass. There's nothing wrong with options, and for a budget AR it looks pretty good.

May a thousand blossoms bloom far as I'm concerned.

I'd give his channel a watch on YouTube. Super knowledgeable guy and he seems on point (IMHO) with most things he says. I tend to agree as well. This does nothing innovate. It's a standard AR with a rail. Why is this being hyped? If they went with a piston system or something they could at least tout that.

If this was marketed like the M&P 15 then great, more options. This sounds like it's a one-off AR-based innovation which it's not.
