Good luck, I got one early last winter but haven't seen any more since. It's a cut way above the regular stuff SA puts out for sure.

By my understanding he's a big Kimber 1911 enthusiast.

Yes, I think so. I think the VMC is set up a little more "conventional" in the respect that it doesnt have FCS and a magwell.
