That's one that might actually make some sense, as a purely loss prevention measure if you don't trust your employees. Keeps someone from coming in with a hipoint in a holster and walking out with a m&p instead...
Just bring in a mag for what ever gun line you are working on. If there is trouble you are only a slide rack away from being armed...
