So I took my precious to the range Saturday. Anything special happen? Nope. Other then the sun was out, it was pleasantly warm, the snow had melted from the grass and I had the Hopkinton club's rifle range all to myself.

I shot 40 rounds of Privi 5.56 and got nice 2-3 inch groups w/ a few flyers prone from 100yds. I know that's not Appleseed standards but it was good for me.

I then shot about 60 rounds of reloaded .223 (Qmmo) and got similar grouping but it shot about 1-2 MOA to the right of my POA. I thought that was kind of interesting.

Of note is my 2 'new' 20 round mags fed fine but failed to hold the bolt open on an empty mag. Looks like replacement springs are in order.

Oh, and I got a little bit of a burn on the back of my neck! Woo hoo! I love spring.

A day at the range is always a good day.
Glad to hear you had the nice weather and range to yourself.

Thanks for the report.

4 MOA is all you need to shoot rifleman so I think your doing pretty damn good with a 2-3 inch group at 100 yards.
