So I'm getting ready to (figuratively) pull the trigger on my beloved TC Encore. They have the frame I want in a blued finish and perhaps in stainless. It has a gold inlay so it looks REALLY good blued, but looks good in stainless as well. I've searched this forum and others and basically discovered the following:
1) Stainless has the best corrosion resistance and maintains its appearance best with regard to abrasion (duh, the finish can't "rub off")
2) There is a belief that blued guns are *generally* made of stronger/more durable steel
Is this correct...and what do you folks think- Blued frame with scroll work and gold inlay or stainless?
Does anyone have experience with T/C and the quality of the finish on their blued components? I know they are a top-notch manufacturer in general...
