The time has come to sell my beloved Steyr Scout. It is a complete Jeff Cooper package with many extras. This sale is everything in the pics. The rifle currently carries a Burris Fullfield II 3-9 long range scope with a LED red dot mounted on Warne steel QD rings. Zero has never budged in many years of use. Included is the original Steyr (made for them by Leupold) IER 2X scope also mounted on Warne QD steel rings. The rifle carries 2 5rd magazines on it, one in the mag well and one in the buttstock. Also included is a 10 rd mag well adapter and 5 10 rd magazines. Original 3 point black leather sling is included. All original paperwork and documentation is here as well as hard sided carry case.
I can’t believe I’m selling this but someone else should have the pleasure of using a rifle this good. As all serious riflemen know the ergonomics of a stock and the break of the trigger is everything. This rifle is superior on both counts, far and above any other rifle I have owned or fired. Without embellishment I have killed at least 15 deer and probably 20 hogs over the years with this. It has never failed me although I can’t say the same about myself.
