Survivors of recent mass shootings revive calls for federal assault weapons ban, 20 years later

They'll never let a good tragedy go to waste. I'm surprised they didn't immediately memory hole this one, as the emerging facts don't exactly fit the desired "sensible gun control" narratives. The solution to having prevented the Super Bowl Parade shooting? Google "Mike Bloomberg Aspen 2015" to see transcripts of him saying the silent non-PC part out loud. His team immediately tried to get video and sound footage buried, but they failed. This is the guy donating 100's of millions of dollars into lobbying and research efforts (Everytown, Moms Against, Johns Hopkins) which pump out more and more "specific policy bolstering evidence making" (in favor of gun control) 24/7/365. It is so discouraging that effective solutions do exist which would not poke sticks into the eyes of law abiding gun owning citizens. Yet they choose to ignore such innovative and collaborative approaches. It's like those old Bizarro comic scrips: unsettling and surreal.

a couple of hood rats from KC shoot it out amongst 20,000 people. Think they give a shit??? What 'assault weapon was used?? a couple of 9mm or 380 pistols

How about the "Go F*ck Yourself act" ?
If you want what I own ,Nut up ,gear up and let's get it done.
It's all so tiresome.

It's not bizarre, unsettling, or surreal when you realize they DO NOT WANT a solution (or even improvement). Hell, the more violence and mayhem the better, since they use it as a means of grabbing more power... which is, in fact, their entire goal.
