Swapping m&p frames

Ive had a full sized m&p 9mm for roughly a year. Only roughly 1000 rounds through it.

I had cut the gripframe to about the length of a glock 19 frame for ccw purposes. I hardly ever carry it anymore so i was looking to go back to a full size frame.

S&W wont sell just a frame.

I was considering buying a used m&p and swapping my trigger group and slide assemby onto the new frame. Mostly because my m&p has night sights and a full apex trigger kit. Im not anticipating re assembling everything.

Is there anything wrong about putting my used slide on a new used lower?

i don't see any issues with this, m&p's are not like 1911's where the slide to frame fit have tight tolerances. i'll be looking out for your stripped m&p frame in the classifieds

I have installed a new 9mm Pro slide on an older std (9mm frame with no problems.
