Target firearms and concealed carry question.

For the approved "Formal Target Shooting Roster" and the "Approved Firearms Roster" is there a distinction that target shooters are strictly for range/target usage, or are we allowed to concealed carry them?

Wasn't sure if only the "Approved Firearms Roster" is fair game for concealed carry or if the target shooters were also allowed.

Just got my LTC last month and trying to sift through the joys of understanding Mass laws.

I am by no means an expert on MA law but the approved firearms roster is what dealers are allowed to sell. There is no restriction on target vs carry.

Also the roster is not to say possession of a non roster gun is illegal. It’s just was dealers can’r sell or transfer. Private sales are not limited like that.

Good luck trying to all the MA firearms laws. They keep lumping more dung on the steaming pile every chance they get.
