$551 a case is still insane...I paid 321.50 on 6/2 and 367.91 on 6/29 per case

That's actually not that great a price, considering how cheap they got before all this. $3.27 in 1981 would be about (accounting for the 197% increase from inflation) $9.51 in 2020, or about 9.5 cpr.

Yeah, no kidding.
A friend of my son called the other day, wanting to purchase ammo from me since he wasn't able to find anything right now. The expectation was that I would sell him some of the ammo I had gotten during the good days for what I paid for it back then, so that he could go to the range and blast away today. Yeah right, keep dreaming kid. Worst is that he got offended and angry when I said I have no ammo to sell him.

I never thought the price of Wolf would go through the roof. I grabbed 4 boxes of the .308 for 12.87 but even then I cringed a little.
Just bought 2 cases of 223 and 500 of .308 wolf. That hurt my wallet.

I didn’t get the alert either, just happened to see it passing by...I didn’t receive any 9mm alerts yesterday
hopefully, but that’s what people said about the $700 brass last week. But it all sold just took 2 days instead of 2 minutes.
