Guys, another revolver question.
how about TAURUS M500 RAGING BULL SS? what you think of this vs S&W 500. both in short barrel.
any pros & cons.
thanks

S&W builds some of the finest firearms in the world and their customer service is second to none. Taurus is a third world arms manufacturer with the quality control and customer service you would expect from such an organisation.

I own a S&W 500 and have several others in .500 and .460. My .500 is the most accurate handgun I've ever fired and I agree that S&W customer service is among the best in the industry. I've had very limited experience with Taurus revolvers but the one I shot was a .45 Colt that seemed well made and had a great blue job.

Nothing else need be said on this topic.

I cast a 350 gr. RCBS gascheck bullet and shoot it with Titegroup powder. It makes a light load about like a full power .44 magnum with much less recoil. The .460 and .500 have great muzzleblast and heavy but not punishing recoil. They're not for everyone. Shoot them before you decide and if you don't reload, you'll go broke feeding them. I don't know your location but you're welcome to shoot my .500 at Harvard Sportsmens Club. I'm usually there every Saturday and Sunday morning.
