I was shooting my x95 and had a strange jam/feed issue. Never seen a bullet bend/crush like this before. Anyone ever experience anything like this? See pics. Appreciate any feedback. Only happened once, couldn’t see any visible problems, cleared jam, examined, and continued shooting a few more mags, same ammo. Is it possible the recoil spring is a lot stronger on x95 than on an ar? Been shooting ar rifles for a long time and have never experienced anything like this before. 9D3CDEC2-281C-4988-8709-89CCB32E47DF.jpeg 9D3CDEC2-281C-4988-8709-89CCB32E47DF.jpeg 623CC5B9-EF5B-4B85-873E-1A7C5AED2F27.jpeg

impossible to comment on that specific round of ammunition
it's possible the OAL was off
we would need to know which magazine and mag spring are being used

my guess is that the mags springs are old and worn out or some other magazine related issue that led to the misfeed

Looks like it came loose from the magazine or fell off of the bolt while feeding. Most likely a magazine issue. Was it the first round out of the mag?

Yeah, had this probably twice in 5k rounds. In the midst of classes (one SIG and other IWI) so cleared with difficulty and moved on. Picked them up after and said WTF? I was using a Omega 300 can and the soot was building up pretty nasty.

Maybe weak case neck combined with out of spec feed lips? Crazy.
I’ve deformed soft points trying to work a bolt action too quickly (old 270 from the 50s that is a brick but a tack driver), but that’s nuts.

Thanks for all the feedback, appreciate it.
Not sure if it was 1st round. Did a lot of shooting, only had one 30 rnd mag. Only happened once.
Took pics right after it happened. Gun was clean.
Definitely not Reptiles diagnosis, lol.
Was easy to clear and continue.
Got a bunch of prebans from a friend who moved, was probably first time using it. Hope I can find it in my drawer.
Was easy to clear. Probably is a mag issue. 49F390DA-9EF5-4D5B-BF40-F7AEECCE15FD.jpeg 49F390DA-9EF5-4D5B-BF40-F7AEECCE15FD.jpeg 6D3411F8-B78F-4DF8-83D3-A8005DAD9792.jpeg

I had this happen on a FtF with those same Winchester rounds with my Tavor. Happened twice, although I chalked it up to the orlite mag I was using.
