Hello, I'm looking to buy a new. 40 pistol and its probably gonna be a glock 23 because I heard a lot of good reviews on them. But I wanna test it out first before buying it. I know MFL and Original Bobs probably have some to rent but I dont wanna drive 45mins if Ican avoid it. So, if there's anyone here that owns a glock 23 and willing to let me test it I would appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance! I'm located in Lowell and a member of WSA in bedford. We can either shoot at my club(indoors)or yours.

I have one, and I'm from saugus. I shoot a a small indoor range in Lynn. I can give you a shout next time I know I'm going, and your more than welcome to pick up some rounds and meet up with me.

I'm very close to WSA and have a Glock 23C. You can give it a spin if we can meet up @ WSA or MRA (my club).

That sounds like a good plan. Will you be available tomorrow? if not when? We can meet up at WSA

Thanks again chinalfr for letting me shoot the glocks. Looks like ill be getting a g23 and 9mm conversion barrel soon.

Be careful with this combination. While you *MAY* be able to get a Glock 23 to fire using a 9mm barrel/extractor and maybe ejector, it is not recommended as the breechface dimensions are different. If you really insist on going this route, I suggest you get a second ejector housing as the ejector is a friction fit and not designed for repeated removal/replacement.

If the 23C is one of the newer models with the improved dimensions to the metal insert, it will be rated for use with a 357SIG barrel.

You will probably be happier saving the money for the conversion barrel and putting it towards a 9mm gun.

Thanks for the info, i always thought it was as easy as dropping in the conversion barrel and thats it.

It is DEFINITELY not considered "recommended" or "factory approved". 357/40S&W is the only "twofer" combination that is blessed by Glock.
