Just wanted to say thank you for everything you guys and gals do. I've worked in EMS for years and I interact with LEOs quite a bit on scene. Once, years ago, an officer who responded to a medical call alone pushed me out of the way to tackle a guy we just revived with Narcan who came at me swinging and kicking with his boots, pissed that I ruined his high. Probably doesn't sound THAT dramatic to you guys given what you see every day... but to me, it really put things in perspective. If this guy had a knife, or a gun in his pocket, or a dirty needle, I'm confident that officer would have still intercepted the patient to protect me, and that's pretty incredible.
