Law Enforcement Guide to Firearms Law, 2024 Edition 2.0 by Chief Ronald C. Glidden covers all aspects of Massachusetts firearms law. This edition includes Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024
It also includes an expanded FAQ section. In addition to Massachusetts and federal firearms statutes, the manual also includes firearms related CMRs, tables, forms, articles and notes from the author to help officers involved in either firearms licensing or enforcement to better understand our complicated firearm laws. This manual has become the leading source of firearms legal information for Massachusetts law enforcement.

Chief Glidden is the law enforcement expert on Massachusetts gun law.

He tells the police what to do.

Anyone know what he said about the new law?

He is giving classes right now to the police all over Massachusetts.

I think hi opinion on these laws matters.
Don't really care, what actually matters is wether or not DAs will tolerate or accept shit charges that are based off these laws.

I'm sure someone will soon leak the PDF and then you guys can tie yourself into knots and dick self punching while simultaneously pant shitting over the new bloviations created by this guy. 🤣

One wonders how far off from the actual law’s language this will be.

Probably greater than the space between Voyager 1 and Earth.

His ad says that, so you believe him?

This is like fear porn for you isn't it? 🤣 hardcore xxx.... the only way it could be better is if glidden packed a portapussy in with the order. 🤣
There might be some good nuggets in there.

The new law got rid of muzzle brakes, collapsible stocks, allows bayonet mounts.

Nobody saw that coming.

Maybe he has other good things for us mixed in.

If anything it's good opo research.

Good to know what the DA's are thinking and being taught.

Except history has shown that DAs are not necessarily wedded to all gliddenisms.

I found his previous book to be pretty good.

I bought it when I moved to MA and as I learned my way around MA laws, I never really found anything that was inaccurate or overreaching.

This includes stuff that a lot of people here get wrong. For example. No need to lock or case an unloaded handgun to and from the range. It can be in a soft bag in the back seat of the car.

Why? Because only LOADED handguns need to be under your direct control and only large capacity rifles and shotguns need to be cased. He got that right.
