This looks very nice.
Hopefully legal again in Massachusetts some day!

and what is 'new' about any of that overpriced crap? :)

ps. ok, it is not half bad - as he uses cheapest crappy ammo to shoot from this $4k toy. funny as hell.
not as good as to use a steel tula to break it in, but, close enough.

If a rifle can’t shoot steel, it’s trash.
of course. but shooting tula out of an hk is a statement in itself. :)

i shoot tula out of anything, got too much of it after covid. it is quite useless, really, but, well, on days of a plinking steel mood - it works.

People on GB are asking well over $1500 just for an HK factory barrel for a 223. I sold an HK 416 BCG maybe a year ago for $1300 and people were falling all over themselves to get it from me. HK stuff like this is in a (non-sensical) league of its own, and that's before you even start getting into stuff that's in that awful RAL color.

I don't see how it is worth that much. You can get one heck of an AR for $3k.
Agreed 1000%

I got no issue with anyone who likes them and buys them at that price but what are you getting out of that that your missing with a nice $2000 build?

Besides the name H&K of course

Have you ever tried the ammo above? Was it that bad?

If you didn't - this not your typical steel case Wolf 223. From what I read, it was made in Taiwan, brass cased, loaded close to m193 velocity, sealed. Accuracy was reported as pretty good for bulk "m193 style" ammo. If you stopped watching the video right after the screenshot, he measured his 5 shot group as 1 inch @ 100' few seconds later.

My issue with this choice is why would he use the ammo that is not available anymore? And he mentioned ammo sponsor at the end. So they both thought it would be a good idea, instead of using any ammo the sponsor can actually sell.

On the rifle, interesting that they went for non chrome lined barrel for the US market. But I guess they offer lifetime warranty on it, so will replace for free if you shoot it out.

Doesn’t even have a chrome lined barrel.

HK had their chance to seriously cash in on the 416 on the tail end of GWOT.

I know this will still sell, but only because of HK fanboys.

Some people in LA do their groceries at Erewhon and gleefully pay $26 for a gallon of spring water just so they can shop at a place where they don't have to walk past the poors.

What does that do that a 1500 dollar BCM AR can’t? For that money I could get the rifle, a holosun AEMS with scalarworks high mount and holosun IR LAM/illuminator and be able to actually use it in real life situations. I would still have like 1k left over.

not bad, not great. just a cheap wolf.
a usual wolf with a 2 moa or so spread, as components there are not what you would call 'match' ammo.

Does steel case wolf group the same as wolf gold did for you? Interesting.

Wold gold was priced in line with other bulk brass ammo, definitely not at match levels.

and what does all that do my most recent $350 14.5" upper can`t do? yep. all the same shit, just a different amount of vanity attached to it.

same as a web picture of some fatso overload wrapped into full tactical gear with a $20k nightvision piece on a helmet, that had never been and will never ever be used.
