There were some recent "I want an AR" threads. Here's a very good upper deal.

Still learning about AR's. I tried googling alot of those parts to see the difference.
0.This deal includes the upper and BCG?
1.Is there a difference WRT the rails?
2.Of those that are listed, is there a brand that is better quality?
3.When choosing rail length for a 16in barrel, is it all preference?
4.If I wanted to install the Aimpoint PRO and Troy flip-ups, seems like I would want the low profile gas block, yes? (just to be sure)
5.And lastly, the comps/hiders. Don't really need anything fancy, mainly just MA legal until I move to NH. Standard A2?

The page does not state if its included I'd give them a call they're good about returning calls.

Different makers/length/apperance/free float or not

No opinion YMMV. I went with the DD Omega rail based on the reccomendation of a friend.
I have not been dissapointed.

Depends on the gas block/sight post, length of gas system and the number of doo-dads you want to hang.

Yes.

NO. Standard A2 is a "flash Hider, you'll need a comp- pinned & welded for Ma.

When all else fail pick up the phone, they'll guide you through the selection process.

Thank you Dennis! It's a bit of a struggle trying to learn about this stuff when I kind of don't know what I want. And for whatever reason, I brain-farted on the A2....I know hiders are "evil".

You're welcome. [smile]
I'm relatively new to the AR myself. My first build was a real frankenAR [rolleyes].
I seem to have got things right the second time around. With the plethora of parts & accessories its hard not to do the "kid in a candy store" thing. [laugh]

The really hard part is to stop building when the first one's complete. [thinking] [rofl]

This. If you ever order parts to have as spares, more often than not it will turn into a full rifle lol.
