Thoughts on the Mossberg MVP-LC??

So, I'm leaning towards picking up a Mossberg MVP Light Chassis in .308 in the next month or so...

Does anyone have any experience with this rifle, or any of the MVP lineup?

I have the MVP Taking edition. I absolutely love it. Has been a very good rifle for me. I considered the LC and such but didn't want to spend the coin at the time. Still very happy with my purchase.

Very nice. Saw the ad in American Rifleman, and liked it. Just watched the video on the Mossberg site, and like the concept.

At 10lb with the scope, it doesn't seem very lightweight. If you're going to carry it afield I might look at one of the other models. But if you're looking for a bench gun off the shelf, it seems to come complete, with even the bipod included.

10lbs Sounds very heavy. I believe mine is only 7, no way the LC can be that heavy.

The .308 is 8.5lbs, 10lbs with the optional vortex scope

I got Mossberg MVP Patrol a few months ago. Super accurate rifle. LC in .308 has a 2" longer barrel and about 1 lbs heavier. I shot it once and have not seen much difference in accuracy with Patrol and 100 yards, though chassis looks much cooler
