Tikka T1X rimfire PRS mods

So been very busy. When your a CNC machinist and you have a shooting passion, cool mods come into fruition (and cheap when you get the material for free).

1) swapped to the lighter trigger spring. I'm at about 1#
2) MDT ORYX chassis.
3) MDT ARCA rail
4) custom machined forend weight adding 3.4#
5) custom machined heavy extended bolt handle.
6) custom machined buttpad entension. I like a LOP at about 14"
7) RTV glued some 1/8" foam on the cheek riser , my cheek now feels more planted IMO
8) MDT 30 moa scope rail (my gun club has a 400 yd range all steel gongs )
9) WARNE Maxima high rings
10) Athlon ETR UHD 4.5-30-56 FFP MILLS scope

Love the feel of the rifle overall. I do see why many shooters feel the ORYX chassis is too rear heavy. The Tikka does not have a heavy barrel contour so it needed some additional weight up front. I also got the Armageddon Gear schmedium bag which is very nice ! Thanks to @MC56 for helping me choose the right parts.

Thanks ! Tried to keep the buttstock spacer weight to a minimum as well

great rig! now, a final part of the upgrade will be to swap out t1x for a vudoo.

Thanks ! And your not wrong ! A fellow NESR whos been helping me get my T1X built has a SWEET custom Vudoo rig and dam that rifle is impressive and ive seen it shoot first hand. The precision is really impressive.

Thanks ive been able to reach 300 yds so far, but its no joke holding accuracy at that distance. Im learning the wind REALLY pushes .22 rimfire bullets around .

i get an itch myself from time to time, but my cz shoots excellent for all i actually need, so, i keep stopping of it.
i got a whole set of rem 700 components and spare scope, only need a barreled action, but cannot decide on a caliber. plus do not really need anything to begin with.
