You'd think that I'd be happy with my own group buy, but alas, I cannot install my Timney trigger because my Colt AR-15 has a sear block.
I can't find mention of the sear block issue anywhere on Timney's website or in the product description, but the third line on the installation instructions that come with the trigger is:
I have to say, I'm pretty pissed off about this. For this rifle I was torn between having a JP trigger custom installed, or ordering the Timney. I decided to go with the Timney because I wouldn't have to deal with sending my rifle out to a gunsmith. If I knew I'd have to have a chunk of my rifle machined out, never would have ordered the second trigger for my Colt.

If you own a Colt AR-15 the sear block needs to be removed by a qualified gunsmith before this trigger can be installed or Timney can remove the sear block and install the trigger for you.
