Does anyone have hands-on experience with unlocking the MARS/CAP? If it ends up being easy, I'll sign up for MARS.

I have that radio with the MARS mod. I couldn't do it due to my vision, but my friend was able to desolder the resisters without issue.

Do you have a Tech or General license? I don't know how much 2m stuff MARS really does. They seem to primarily focus on HF for the regular stuff.
