You could alway try here unless you live close to KTP.Has anyone recently traded-in ammo at KTP? Not sure you can even do that amymore. I have some shotgun slugs and 30-30 ammo that I was thinking of trading towards other ammo.
When is the last time you did this there?Has anyone recently traded-in ammo at KTP? Not sure you can even do that amymore. I have some shotgun slugs and 30-30 ammo that I was thinking of trading towards other ammo.

They still do ammo trade in. I haven't traded any in but I've bought ammo off that trade in shelf many times. Got a 50 round box of American eagle 44 mag for $35 last weekend.Has anyone recently traded-in ammo at KTP? Not sure you can even do that amymore. Ktp still does ammo trades. They have a shelf just for it. I buy stuff off that shelf all the time. Got a 50 round box of American eagle 44 mag for $35 last weekend.I can't speak for that shop but generally speaking gun stores don't take "old" ammo or at least they're not going to give you much for it.
They're certainly not going to buy it from you anywhere near their dist replacement cost.
The only time I've ever seen people not get raped is when the market is dry and the shops have no ammo.
You're better off selling what you have privately and turning it into cash and then buying whatever you want frankly. At least on a priv sale you might only lose 10 or 20%.
My grandfather would trade ammo there, probably 20 years ago thoughWhen is the last time you did this there?
Thanks for the inputI can't speak for that shop but generally speaking gun stores don't take "old" ammo or at least they're not going to give you much for it.

At ktp awhile back I picked up 3 boxes of 45acp with sears price stickers on them lolI grabbed a box of 22lr at a place in ossipee a month or so ago. It has a Kittery sticker from 1989 on it lol
It's in perfect shape and was cheap enough. I just grabbed it because the shop owner was super decent to me and I didn't want to leave empty handed.
