I measured the trigger pull on a number of guns with a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge and figured this data might be of interest to others.
Samples are of a single gun. Tests were done from 4 to 9 times on each gun to get an average. The 642 only has a few hundred rounds thru it since S&W did some work on it (repaired/replaced some parts in action). The USP 40c probably has 3-4K thru it. The M&P .45 has ~750 rds thru it. Sphinx has had multiple owners, I've only put 3-500 rds thru it to date.
All guns are stock (non-MA triggers and not worked on).
S&W 642 - 11.5# (ouch)
Sphinx AT2000P - SA - 4.275#, DA - 9.781# (this is a Swiss custom-fitted CZ75 Compact clone)
H&K USP 40c - SA - 5.2875#, DA - 11.25#
M&P .45 - 6.968#
