Quick due diligence, looking to get a .458 upper and these guys seem too know their stuff. Anyone deal with them? Opinions.

Tromix is the place to go for .458 SOCOM. Tony Rumore helped create the cartridge.

High quality, excellent work. I bought my .458 SOCOM barrel from him.

Thanks, just ordered the upper and some .458 mags, got ammo coming in tomorrow.

What do you use for a buffer, rifle or carbine?

.458 is designed to work with a standard carbine buffer and gas system.

Thanks, the Q&A on their site was a little confusing to me, it said standard GI buffer but didn't specify GI rifle or GI carbine.
