I have a sig 556 with the "fish gill" handgaurds. I think it is finnally time to get rid of them. I have heard conflicting information on different sites about these rails. I have heard that the samson does not allow you to remove the gas tube while the rail is in place but the troy does. Yet it doesn't appear that i would be able to use my brand new samson flip up sight with the troy rail either because it attatches to the dove tail. Does anyone have any experience with these rail systems? If so are my assumptions correct? and which would you recommend buying? I need to buy one of them soon! any information would be a lot of help.
