Not disputing that but I guess what I'm saying is given the NRA's history, expecting some sort of 2A puritanism out of them is a bit of a reach considering they're basically controlled opposition.....

The other problem is people can't accept the fact that simply pointing out a flaw of the former president is not necessarily a wholesale indictment.... I don't really see this strange need to try to cover up somebody's defects.

Reagan, Clinton, Trump and Biden were all terrible on guns. Nothing comes to mind on the Bushes being good or bad. Obama allowed guns on federal property (just not in buildings).

Anyway, if the NRA doesn't look bad enough, inviting a former POTUS with a track record of anti-gun legislation because the NRA might be able to siphon some of the money Trump brings to the table is a sad state of affairs for us all.

Bump stocks were just used in the deadliest mass shooting in US history. All the lefties were really crying about was bump stocks.
