Those are just suggestions. You can ignore them and keep typing whatever you want for the thread title.

It's there to avoid people from creating another thread for something that already has one.

Sounds like something Google is doing to gmail. When I am typing a message gmail places "suggested' words at various times. I have not yet found out how to accept the suggestions I want, but for the ones I don't want I just keep typing.
