This is a High Standard Supermatic Trophy that I've had just about forever. I had it set up with a Redfield Grip mount and Red dot and used it for Bullseye about a dozen years ago.
I pulled it out of the safe and remembered why I stop shooting it. Too Heavy!
So I just upgraded it with a LSP Match Aluma-lite Barrel and scope mount. Re-installed grips I had made for it. I re-used the Red Dot but will be upgrading that at some point as well.

Somewhat same situation. My HS Victor is just too heavy for me now - even with it's 5.5in bbl. It's 10 years since your post; still happy with the switch? Any reliability issues?

Two options I'm considering:
1 - selling the Victor and buying a M41, which would reduce by 6 oz, or
2 - mounting the LSP lite barrel and scope mount on the Victor, which would reduce by 7.5 oz.

I also have a Browning Buckmark 4" bull barrel. Plenty light and accurate enough for my 50ft indoor shooting, but not near the trigger I'd like. But I'd like to keep that as a backup.
