I don't start many threads, but I am so pleasantly surprised with my new Urban Carry Holster that I thought it made sense to post a thread about the product for those who may not know about their holsters and may appreciate them.
I recently picked up a new carry gun, a Sig 365XL ( thank you @KAG Arms! ) and was on the hunt for a holster. My go to is a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2, but they take forever to come in, and are very expensive. I have 4 of them, and they are great, but at $300 with clips, snaps and shipping, and a 9 month wait time, I wanted to get something while I waited, because I shoot this thing like it was made for me. I have a couple of Vedder Lighttuck holsters that I like because the are simple and easy, and comfortable enough, but Kydex really wears a guns finish.
So I wanted a IWB leather holster and my search lead me to Urban Carry. The "Lock Leather" holster is a high quality leather holster that features a kydex retention clip that locks on the trigger guard. It is the best of both worlds, an open top leather holster, with adjustable retention and the icing on the cake is that it is very affordable.
TL;DR - Urban Carry = Good, Cheap & ships fast.

I used to use the crossbreed and now use the aliengear. both are great choices. op's looks good for a single clip. how rigid is it? can you stuff the gun back into the holster without any flexing?

Doesn't the lock leather premise violate the whole notion of 'nothing shall penetrate the trigger guard' mantra? In a SAO or striker application, if the holster bottom failed the 'lock' would end up striking the trigger.

The kydex "clip" engages the front edge of the trigger guard. Nothing penetrates the trigger guard. This image show the inside of the holster.

According to their demo video, that "clip" goes over the sides of the trigger guard and grabs from the inside of the trigger guard. The retention screw below could be further away from the clip than the clip edges are from the trigger. What stops the gun from further travel down into the holster is the leather itself. Although highly unlikely, if the stitching or leather were to fail, then the gun would be able to be pushed further into the holster than designed/expected and the gun could travel down until the trigger guard edge collides with the lower retention screw and at that point the clip nubs are either at or past the trigger. Again, highly unlikely failure but I didn't know what the thoughts were on allowing *anything* into the trigger guard area to secure the weapon.
