The Hopkinton Heavy Hitters are hoping to have next match on Sat May 4th. The weather situation is still a wildcard for this match so please keep an eye on the uspsa-ne.org calendar or this thread for updates on match status. If it looks like there is a significant chance of rain on Sat we won't be having the match. 50% chance of showers is one thing, 100% chance of driving rain is no one's idea of a fun safe match!

Setup is Friday afternoon starting around 2pm and extra hands are always welcome. Match setup help gets $10 off match fee! If you can help out running a timer or a scoring device during the match let me know at registration and I'll knock $10 off for that as well. Do both and we comp the total match fee. If you're going to stop by to help with setup please email [email protected] to let us know to expect you.

What: 6 stage USPSA match, including one classifier stage
Where: 95 Lumber Street, Hopkinton MA (look for the big granite sign)
When: Sat May 4th, 9am first shots, registration opens around 8am
Why: Because it's really fun
How Much: match fee is $25, Juniors fee is $15 **Exact change is appreciated**

Spectators and new shooters always welcome, just let us know it's your first match and we'll make sure someone helps you through the process so you have a safe and fun match. Membership in USPSA is encouraged but not required. Feel free to reply to the thread of PM me with any questions.

See you there,
Peter

Prepping my rainy day firearm (the owners manual said it runs better when wet )
Channel 5 says the showers should be done by 9ish tomorrow morning. I think it will be dry except for the ground of course lol.

The weather (mostly) held off and we were able to have some good stages for some good people today. Thanks to all who came out to spend the day with us and run around shooting things. There were a couple minor hiccups with the scores so please let me know if anything looks out of place (for real). Hopkinton USPSA @ gmail . com is the address, just remove all the spaces.

Thanks Peter and the rest of the HHH. That was hands down the best/most fun club match I’ve attended.

Thank u to the HHH for a fun match that had to have been set up in the rain!!!

Note to self: bring extra mags in case a stage goes over 44 rounds lol

why The mix of target shapes?

In addition to what Rob said, we use ipsc targets sometimes for various reasons...make a stage more challenging, target inventory, weather situation (they are easier to bag). Rules state that you are allowed to use both at the same match but not on the same stage so why not....

Thanks. That all makes sense. For me it would take an extra amount of concentration. Which I seldom have LOL
