Veteran gun rights

If you are unable to manage your financial affairs you are probably unable to safely manage a firearm. VA only makes a decision you need a rep payee if it's court ordered or result of a psychiatric assessment. Typically this would involve elderly at VA nursing homes or individuals who have had multiple commitments to pysch ward.

Stop painting with a broad brush. There are many levels of TBI that make it extremely difficult to manage things like finances but be perfectly capable of owning and operating a firearm. Nobody should lose thier rights because of a specific cognitive disability, especially a Veteran.

Seeing as the 2nd amendment is a 'God given right' enumerated in the constitution, does that mean those who do not manage their finances in a way you see fit should be prohibited from said rights? No 1st or 4th amendment if you are in debt?

What??

You clearly did not pay attention to what the Obama administration was doing to veterans 2A rights. Please research the issue, you are woefully wrong on this.

This coming from a guy who hasn't seen the parking lot at the military base in years. You can count the bad financial decisions by how many new mustangs and camarros are in the lot.

Your ability to work finances and your ability to keep and bear arms are in no way related to each other.

This.

I remember a specific block of instruction on “why leasing cars is a terrible idea” in Basic. No word of a lie.

Was that in addition to the block on how to manage a checking account?
No shit, "Having checks does not mean you have money".
A few did not grasp this. Usually, the same that had to be reminded to pay their NCO club card balance each month.

The problem is he is shitting on everyone here. The last time I checked, financial literacy and the 2A were not connected.
