I made this video for a guy whom I met via the internet.
We both share a compassion for H & R's. His collection is amazing
and huge. Mine only consists of model 686 convertable 4.5 inch barrel.

If you are an H&R guy maybe you could help me out? A few years ago I picked up a weird little gun that I can not find a single bit of information about. the gun is clearly marked H & R ARMS CO. WORCESTER MA U.S.A. On one side of the barrel is marked DEFENDER SPECIAL on the other side is POLITE the gun is a top break in 38 S&W the gun is quite small the barrel length is only 2 inches. I have seen information about H&R DEFENDER but never defender special? I would appreciate any information you can offer

This model is quite a bit older than I have much knowledge of.
But, I have a blue book with some info on it.
Could be an interesting piece.
I need some more info though.
Do you have this guys email address?
I'd like to contact him, and give him what I have for info, and maybe narrow it down for him.
Made from 1935-1939.
