Volquartsen Summit Receiver

maybe now I place on the right Forum.

Hi gentlemen, I’m buying a Summit receiver from Volquartsen and want to registered as a pistol in MA. Is a bolt action receiver and would be great if I could use a 10” barrel, So I could skip the SBR waiting time. If I can’t My plan is just build as a Rifle with a long barrel and apply for a SBR later. Any recommendations would be great appreciated.

if it's a bolt-action, there is nothing you need to do that's MA specific. Just make sure to follow federal laws. That said, bolt-action pistol is an odd combination for sure... ;-)

Thank you, I agree is a os combination, my hope was be able to have register as a pistol and have a shorty barrel and a pistol brace like this
