Wankinquoah Rod & Gun Club (Middleboro)

Anyone here a member of this club? What are your general thoughts? Do you know if membership is capped and if there is a waiting list?

One thing I didn't like about this club is the $100 non-refundable application fee. No other club does this and it seems steep if membership is declined for any reason.


This club also requires a CORI background check which I find ridiculous. If you have an LTC, you have already passed a rigorous background check from the state. Why would they charge you to have it done again?

Quick update: I contacted this club to see if they are taking new members and they have an open house on January 25th of 2015 from Noon until 3PM. Anyone who decides to join and fills out an application during the open house will NOT have to pay the $100 application fee.

I plan to attend and join mainly for the hunting property for deer since that piece of land is prime deer hunting property and most of the hunting members are bird hunters.

And they have a killer 3d archery course that rivals a fine golf course of the forest.
