any more info about this club there website says outdoor range is limited? thinking about joining but wondering about that and if the indoor is 24hr

They're having an open house "membership drive" this Sunday the 26th from noon til 2pm. I'm going down to check it out and get the low down on range usage. I sent them an email and they said all are welcome and the email says I "will be pleased with what I see".

they did have a nice 3d archery set up with a good hike in between targets a while back. nice property.

This. 3D archery set up was nice, but there were targets set up on the outdoor rifle range. The grass was about 3' tall and looked to be not in use, but the firing line looked like it was in decent shape.... I couldn't figure that one out.

THe deal with club is pretty messed up in my opinion. My friends father took me there and I know one of the longtime members.

From the longtime members mouth he told me the berm at the outdoor rang collapsed and they have no plans to fix it scheduled i believe it has been 2 or more seasons not in use.

I went with my friends father to shoot and the indoor range was pretty nice, had good ventilation and a waterfall backstop. The bad is that every time you shoot (firearms only I believe) as a member or guest its $5 per visit per person. This is on top of a $200 (I think) yearly dues and a pretty high 1x application fee.

Its a pretty nice place for the types that like to hike and fish its on a lot of land and has a stocked pond. People looking to primarily shoot only, if 50' or 75' pistol calibers only works for you this may be your place.. I am a member at middleboro sportsmans club its a no frills outdoor only range of about 100 yards, Trap field, and they just recently set up an outdoor 3d archery target and they have a tomahawk throwing station. If anyone is interested in checking it out or joining PM me. more info on thier website.
Its a place with few rules, dont shoot stupid hadardous shit, no tracers, dont shoot gong with penetrators, be safe have fun and clean up after yourself.

Went to the "Membership Drive" today. It was a great turnout. Had to be at least 75-100 prospective new members there. There seemed to be mixed feedback when questions about the outdoor range were brought up. The guy I asked when I signed in and got my application said they planned on it being all set for the warmer weather. It's restricted to shotguns and black powder right now and you have to shoot closer to the berm, about 100 yards from it. Not from under the nice overhang they have. They said they have plans to fix the berm and open the entire range soon. Then another guy from the club was saying they need help if any new members owned excavating equipment or dump trucks to help cut costs on repairing the berm. I kind of got the impression that they don't have any real plans yet. Maybe they don't have enough current members that have enough interest in it.

It is expensive compared to other clubs I've researched. $150 Application fee. Annual dues is $210. Then it's $5 per use of the indoor range (which is very nice, all brand new and modern) They said the indoor range is open 24/7. They said that if you pay another $100/year, you get unlimited use of the indoor range without the $5 fee. If you signed up at the membership drive today or the one they have scheduled for next month, they waive the application fee. The clubhouse is very nice and newer looking. They stock the property for pheasant hunting and the ponds are stocked with trout every year. You can keep the trout, according to state limits. Bass are catch and release.

It's a great club, expensive but great. They stock pheasants during the state season and if you're lucky enough to get into the upland program you can hunt till the end of March. The outdoor range is basically out of commission until it's rebuilt. The indoor range on the other hand is amazing. Brand new and state of the art. I believe you can shoot pistol and rifle calibers inside and I heard they've shot .30-06 inside without issue. Downside is that it's expensive, upside is that it offers some hunting/fishing and a great indoor range.
