Weaponcraft Seeks Office or Warehouse Training Location
Weaponcraft is seeking a location for Simunition Training.
Need is for office, school or warehouse space on an occasional basis. Must have electricity, be heated above 50deg and be vacant of any people at time of use/training.
"Simunition" is a brand of training cartridge (General Dynamics) fired from a real but temporarily converted firearm. Converted firearms are marked bright blue and cannot fire "real" ammo, thus preventing accidents. The bullets are made of dye-impregnated laundry detergent. Scenario/Reality-Based Firearms Training has been come to be known as 'Sims Training' or 'Paint Bullet Training'. This methodology allows civilian, Law Enforcement and Military personnel, with the use of face and groin protection, to train in realistic situations/scenarios against live (instructor) bad guys or an opposing student. The rounds hurt but do not injure the recipient. This provides an opportunity to train under realistic levels of stress that cannot be achieved by other means. There is no substitute for the reality of having to face a target that is threatening/moving/shooting at the student.
Weaponcraft was originally one of five pilot programs to be allowed to train civilians in 'Sims' scenarios. Weaponcraft is a Simunition certified training company and fully insured for any location.
If you have a vacant building or an office building with vacant areas, please contact us by email (click here) Sim rounds will not break windows and hard surfaces can be easily wiped clean. Computer screens can be protected with simple cardboard. Framed pictures and other small objects in a normal office environment can be knocked over or potentially damaged.
As soon as we identify one or more training locations that we can use this winter, we will post a schedule of Scenario-based classes.
